The blade of our Table Knife features the Double-D recessed edge, a series of three razor-sharp edges with pointed teeth that protect it from surfaces that can dull the knife. This unique edge allows the blade to cut forward, backward, or straight down with equal ease. Through honing, we create a final beveled edge on our straight-edge knives, ensuring a consistently sharp cutting edge. Our blades undergo a rigorous three-step heating process, transforming them from soft to hard and achieving the perfect balance of hardness, flexibility, rust and stain resistance, and edge retention. Polishing the blade removes surface imperfections, resulting in a beautiful finish and enhanced rust resistance and ease of cleaning.
