Why Bamboo?

As mentioned earlier, harvesting hardwood trees leads to deforestation, while bamboo regrows after each harvest. This means bamboo can be continuously harvested throughout the lifespan of the plant. In contrast, bamboo forests that are left untouched can release stored carbon when culms (the poles) decay. Harvesting bamboo for long-lasting products prevents this carbon release, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

With 20 universal slots, our knife blocks can hold up to 19 knives, with an extra slot for scissors or a sharpening rod. Please note that the kitchen knife block is provided without the knives.

The wide angled openings of our knife blocks put less wear on the blades and are designed with a wider opening for easy handling. They can accommodate a range of knives, from smaller steak knives to larger chef knives.
